Bertha Armand Firmin of Dupont; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. WINNIE LEMOINE BORDELON, 82, of Moreauville died on May 6, 1978. Funeral services were held in Sacred Hear! Catholic Church at Moreauville with Msgr. John Tim-mermans officiating. Burial was in church cemetery under direction of Escude of Moreauville.

Survivors include her husband Paul Mack Bordelon of Moreauville; four sons, Louis of Moreauville, Kirby of New Orleans, Everett of Vallejo, Calif, and John of Plaucheville; two daughters, Rita Bordelon and Nar-cille David, both of Moreauville; one brother, Oliver Lemoine of Moreauville; 'one sister, Mrs. Wesley Valois of Moreauville; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. James Joseph Tassin, Marksville, was under an indictment by the Grand Jury for first degree murder on February 17, 1978. He was arraigned on the charge of first degree murder in that he did intentionally kill Samuel Baudin by running over him with an automobile. He entered a plea of not guilty and one of not guilty by reason of insanity. A trial by jury has been scheduled for May 22, 1978. Oscar Reed, Cheney ville, arraigned on a charge of forgery as on March 24, 1978, he did issue and transfer a check in the sum t)f $120 with the intent to defraud made payable to Oscar Reed and signed Roy Martin, as the proposed maker thereof.

A plea of guilty resulted in his being remanded for sentence on May 11, 1978. Survivors include one son, Sam Neck of Marksville; two daughters, Mrs. Merlin Chatelain of Mansura, Mrs.

Wade Laborde of Echo; three sisters, Marie Halloran of Mansura, Rose Briggs of Marksville and Mrs. Estelle Desselle of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. ELMUS P. PONTHIEUX, 64, of Marksville died on April 26, 1978. Funeral rites were held at Hixson Bros.

Chapel, Marksville, with interment in St Joseph Cemetery, Marksville, under direction of Hixson Bros, of Marksville.
